At least, we should all make sure that we know the differences and use the best variety in whatever dishes we are making.
I use cucumbers weekly at home. They are not only refreshing to eat but also have healthy components that are good to keep us healthy and hydrated. Today I will talk about three varieties:

1. MINI CUCUMBERS
These cucumbers usually come in a pack of 5 or more. They don’t have seeds, their flavor is sort of mild and the color is usually darker green. I use them to snack on if I feel hungry before meals. If you prefer, dip them in Hummus, Ranch or Cesar salad dressing or the dressing of your choice.

2. ENGLISH CUCUMBERS
These are my favorite cucumbers to add to my salads and I’ll tell you why. Their peel is very thin and the flavor is pleasant, however, don’t get me wrong, the peel is crunchy. I also like the fact that it has just few seeds that you can’t barely see. I like to use them in my salads, but this is also my key ingredient when I make my weekly fresh Tzatziki. After I grind it, I strain it to drain the water on them and drink it to keep me hydrated.

3.Finally, the STANDARD CUCUMBERS
I must tell you that this is not my favorite at all and the only time I purchase it is when I can’t find the other varieties anywhere. The reason why is simple, first, the peel is super hard and dense they are also big-thick. Last but not least, they have tons of seeds that I do not appreciate having in any of my dishes, especially my salads and Tzatziki.
So there you have it. These are my thoughts and opinion on the aforementioned cucumber varieties and I respect your opinion if you disagree with me. So that you know, I will still love you all! SMILE.
