Dear friends and family:
I stopped posting on Facebook about a couple of weeks ago, out of respect for the families that have been affected by the hurricanes in the Caribbean, including my island, Puerto Rico; Texas, and also, the earthquakes in Mexico.
It was a critical time to leave as many lines of information as possible open, to allow the flow of uninterrupted updates about what was important, information about our families and friends.
I will resume my postings soon, when I feel that the healing process started strongly, understanding that we all need to move forward to go back to where we were before these tragic events happened.
Thank you so much for your support and understanding.
RECYCLING HERB PLANTERS? OF COURSE, EVERYTHING NEEDS A SECOND CHANCE BEFORE GOING TO THE LAND FIELD. DON’T YOU THINK?
This summer while driving around to do chores I saw a Yard Sale sign. I thought about it, should I keep driving or should I turn and go. Well, I made that turn, smile.
Nothing much that caught my attention there, other than this planter that was marked down from $1.00 to .50 cents. The woman made an announcement, whatever is left will be moved to the curb to be picked up the next day by the trash truck. Ok, I bought it.
I came home and had an idea, why not clean it thoroughly and spray paint it to match my garden colors of this year? Well, I did and then added potting soil, planted oregano and thyme and boom, satisfaction, is now looking amazing and for 50 cents! The best part, I gave it a new life and the poor thing didn’t end up in our land field. Winning!!!!!
CRAFTY MONDAY-JEWELRY – 11
I don’t know about you but I don’t step out of my home without two things; earrings and makeup. The reason why is that if I do, I will feel like I was going to do gardening or home chores.
You can be wearing the most beautiful outfit or gown; however, it wouldn’t look the same without complementing it with these two amazing things. Know why?
Therefore, make sure that you have all the colors of the rainbow in your jewelry box! Smile.
