NOTE: Unfortunately, this is my last post, celebrating my granddaughter’s skills and love for cooking and baking. I am so proud of the 5 of them. Next year, I will give you a glimpse of my GRANDSONS SKILLS too. They also can cook, smile. Isn’t she adorable? Saschi is 15 years old, and though she played other sports in the past and also loves to ski, now she focusses only on her High School JV basketball skills. She also tutors a young kid, so sweet. Furthermore, she is my IT genius, whatever is wrong with my IPhone or laptop, she’ll fix it in no time. However, beyond all that, Saschi is an avid baker. What does she make? She makes cakes, cookies, muffins, well, lots of goodies. Sometime back, she was brave enough to make bagels from scratch. Seriously, they were amazing. Keep it up darling. Love ya!

NOTE: This week is all about celebrating my granddaughter’s skills and love for cooking and baking. My baby Siennita, an amazing travelling soccer player is only 10 years old. Oh, and she can swim and dive like a pro, look at that jump, she wasn’t even ten years old when she started, she is my Ninja Warrior! Beyond her amazing athletic skills at that short age, Siennita has been baking for quite a while and she loves it. She has baked plenty of goodies; cakes, cookies, muffins. However, when it comes to Easter, not many kids her age can be as creative as she is in designing and displaying her art. Keep up the good work darling! I Love you to the moon and back! NOTE: This week is all about celebrating my granddaughter’s skills and love for cooking and baking. Cami is an amazing volleyball player, a fashionista and a great skier. She also loves to bake. You can see how her chocolate cake turned out and I can definitely tell you how yummy it was. Furthermore, no fuss about decorating it either, smile. She bakes anything in no time and has developed an amazing skill for making nice French macaroons and small Meringues. After baking her Macaroons, it was just a matter of assembling them so that I could get my teeth on them. Same story with the cake. Yumm! Good Job baby girl, love you! This is my baby Isabelita, she is 16 years old. (Update, she is now 20 yrs. old). She plays high school varsity volleyball; her poster is in the school gym. :) She also play volleyball for a private sports club. This year the Minnesota club won the state championship and went to Florida to compete for the Girls Junior National Volleyball title. The team won all games but in the end were eliminated; however, they fought hard to finish in second place. I am so proud! She is also an avid skier. Isabelita cooks and bakes just about anything from scratch, you name it; from Kentucky Derby Pies and cakes to Puerto Rican “Empanadillas” (meat turnovers). She makes her Bela so proud! NOTE: Bela’s week is all about celebrating my granddaughter’s skills and love for cooking and baking. How fast time flies. Mareikita is now a Junior student at UK! Yippee!!!!!! 2018: MARA’s HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY TEAM JUST WON THE STATE SEMIFINAL AT UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND. NOW OFF TO THE STATE FINAL NEXT WEEK! This is the last post of MY 5 GRAND DAUGHTERS WEEK. I am so proud of my five granddaughters, they all cook and bake, even my 10-year old darling Sienna. Their moms are amazing cooks too; however, I suspect they got some of their cooking genes from their Bela and Mom! Today’s post is about Mareike. She plays varsity volleyball amazingly and has been cooking for a long time now. Her specialty is baking; however, she can put together a nice lunch or dinner in no time. Love you baby girl. I made this earring set today inspired in the colors of the Fall season; orange, yellow and black. Imagine using these earrings with a black dress, wearing your hair up in a cute do. Love them! |
