A good friend gave us this nice bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain as a gift. Needless to say, it was delicious, however, we used it all. So I told my husband that I should do something with the empty bottle because it was a yummy gift plus it has a nice shape.
I went into my craft room after I washed it well and remove the labels, just to think how I was going to transform it, so that it won’t go to the land field. Suddenly, it came to me. I opened some ribbon boxes and came up with this idea, a bottle now turned into a flower vase. However, if you keep the lid on, it can be used as a home decorative accent. Our friend would be so proud, we used all the oil and didn’t even bother to throw away the empty bottle, smile.

As we are about to enjoy a great dinner and quality time with our families and friends, let's also be thankful for the following:
Our health Our families Our Country For being alive For having a job For having friends For having a place to live For caring for others less fortunate than us For having enough food at home to feed the children For having lots of things that we do not need For having faith and understanding that the earth was not created by a man For the men and women who are risking their lives every day to protect our freedom For our men and women Veterans, and also, for those who lost their lives while protecting us Finally, for our first responders who risk their lives daily to keep us healthy and alive. Yes, today it’s Christmas in November and just days before Thanksgiving. For real! Well, it is just me, I love so much the season, that I use any excuse in the book to make it feel like Christmas.
I just can’t say it enough. The current year 2020 has been so insane that it is about time for it to go away for good. Therefore, let’s just focus on positivity, and we will have a better USA until we welcome 2021 with open arms. The Christmas and New year holidays are getting closer each day. It is never too early to start thinking about how you will decorate your home this year.
Look, we have had a terrible 2020 as far as elections and pandemic. Therefore, it is time to stop and start thinking about us and each other. Let’s just plan to enjoy these two month left of the year and furthermore, make a decision about making a decorative piece. Just take a look at my “Empty Bottles Repurposed Series” and boom, done! These are the bottle materials: Total Cost ($1.20) 1 empty green bottle (0) 2 or 3 tall grasses white flowers (0) 1 yd. burgundy velvet ribbon to make a bow ($1.00) 1 piece of wire to secure the bow (.10) Hot glue or regular glue for attached the bow to the bottle (.10) Directions
The time has come my friends. The holidays that means the most during these last two months are Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is never too early to start thinking about how to bring the colors of Thanksgiving to your home or in this case, to your table or kitchen. It is so convenient that I decided on the Empty Bottles Repurposed Series. Therefore, this is my idea of how to transform a black empty whiskey bottle, (since I don’t drink I have no clue as to what this was, smile) into a colorful Thanksgiving decoration.
These are the bottle materials: Total Cost ($2.65) 1 empty black bottle (0) 1 orange color flower (.50) ½ yd. green ribbon to make a bow ($1.00) 1 small pumpkin from either Walmart or the Dollar store ($1.00) Hot glue or regular glue for attached the pearls to the bottle and lid (.15) Directions
