CRAFTY MONDAY- MAKE YOUR OWN JEWELRY, IT'S SO REWARDING!

​Apparently, March was designated as “Crafty Month” and lucky me, if there’s something that I enjoy tremendously is making, recycling, and upcycling stuff, therefore, this is right of my alley.
 
My craft today is jewelry. Hey, they are not 24-Karat Gold, but to me this set looks like a million bucks, smile. I made them for my daughters.
 
So, what do you need to do to start crafting?
 

1. Go to your local hobby shop store; like Michaels or Jo-Ann Fabrics or Google beads.
2. If sewing attracts you, stop by the sewing department and talk to an attendant about a class. Then browse through the pattern books, you can start by making the simplest sewing pattern available and grow from there. My very first piece was an apron, when I was in Jr. High school. Smile.
3. If jewelry is one of your passions, stop by the beads area, they have books for beginners, and tons of beautiful beads and notions.
4. Don’t just stop there, do a nice walk-through the store and see for yourself that there is a whole lot of things that you can create and while doing it, have tons of fun.
