We are always looking for ideas to keep busy, occupied, entertained and avoid boredom during social distancing. Arts and Crafts come to mind as one way to accomplish that goal.
If you have a sewing machine, (or even if you don’t) you are in luck. Why not work on something that may benefit you and your family, and perhaps your friends? MASKS.
There are several patterns on the internet that you can download and print at home. They are very easy to make. (And again, some do not need a sewing machine.) If you have an old cotton blouse, shirt or even a bandana, then you have the primary material to make a mask at home.
You will feel so proud of whatever you create. Furthermore, it will take a good chunk of your day, keep you occupied and focus. It’s good cabin therapy! Smile.
Therefore, since me and my daughters sew, I decided to get mask-crafty. Yesterday, I made my first mask ever. Not 100% to my like, (bummer), but it was my practice project. Hey, I will get there and after all, it doesn’t look that bad after I add on my shades and a hat for extra protection, smile. Thank God I don’t have to go to the bank soon, or they may think it’s an assault and call the police, ha, ha, ha!
OK, so, who doesn’t like the color purple? Not me. I love the different tones of this color.
My craft today shows you that with imagination, simple beads and charms you can make pieces that are unique, attractive and captivating. What are you waiting for?
I simply love to use these types of colors when making jewelry. The reason why is that you can go shopping everywhere for what you need at the moment or a gift that you want to give away and chances are, you will not find the colors that you are looking for and if you do, you may not like the design.
Therefore, go to the bead shop and start learning how to make these beauties.
I thought that I took a pair of black earrings on this trip but apparently I didn’t. I was getting ready to go out, and the outfit called for black earrings that I didn’t have.
So, I grabbed one of my supplies box, saw some black beads and immediately got on it. 10 minutes later, I finally had a set of black earrings.
Not much to say about this set. These beads are so cool. I decided to enhance the bracelet and wooded look beads by combining the regular beads with crystal beads and metal separators.
My decision was on point, and I wasn’t disappointed. Smile
Let’s go Bling-Bling Today.
Seriously, these two bracelets can be used to complement a semi-formal kind of outfit as well as one with jeans, high heels and a nice casual cardigan.
The bracelets can be used together or separately.
More of the good stuff that all women love, jewelry. In this case more bracelets.
Since bracelets are so popular now, I decided to run this and next month’s “Crafty Monday’s” posts totally about the bracelets that I made this past Christmas for my family. I love them and I am sure that you will love them as well.
Today’s post shows a neutral color triple bracelet that can go great with any outfit. Awesome!
Purple and lavender are very popular color and I just happen to love them. Browsing through the beads shop, I found these babies and decided to combine them to make a 3-strand bracelet. I added other leftover silver beads that I had from another project and then came up with this beautiful piece. Don’t you think? Smile.
Time to go to the bead shop to learn how to make your own pieces friends.
I just couldn’t help it when I met Jedi and had to do a final post just about him.
You can tell that of course; he is a puppy. However, not like any puppy, just few months old, he is already following commands.
His “brother” asked him to sit and he did it in no time. Then he asked him to rollover and though it took a couple of minutes, he got it and did the best he could.
Finally, and unfortunately, we all had to go; however, I was so grateful that his “brother” allowed me to hug him, kiss him, squeeze him and tell him, until we meet again, The Force will be with You!
I cannot believe this is already my third “Family Dogs Montage. There are so many cute dogs that they deserved to be seen, hear their stories and best of all, enjoy them. They have names like: Fin, Sadie, Suiza, Harper, Julie, Cooper and Cosmo.
In this montage I photographed a dog special to my heart. When I met him, his owner told me that he was deaf. Well, I have deaf twins married to deaf husbands. Therefore, I immediately bonded with him. Smile.
I am sure that if you are a dog owner, you all have plenty of stories to tell as well, especially, from the time they were puppies and also as they grew up. They are all amazing family members. Dogs are and will forever be the most wonderful creatures to love.
