MEMORIES: DISNEY ‘S MAGIC KINGDOM; NOT JUST FOR FUN RIDES!

I am 100% positive that lots of people go to Disney for different kinds of fun. Kids and adults enjoy the make-believe world that Mr. Walt created for everyone to enjoy and the many challenging rides. Perhaps, some adults just go to feel that magic, leaving the “present” behind for a day to reminisce about years back when they were kids and technology wasn’t consuming 90% of their day.

Me? I go to enjoy the beauty of nature that they recreated in these parks. The flowers, and the countless landscape displays are simply amazing. Finally, I love the laid back feeling of being in an imaginary country, where reality and whimsy meets to make you happy.

So friends, take a ride with me in this imaginative trip through my slide show. Enjoy!

PART 2: BEAUTIFUL IDEAS FOR OUTDOOR ACCENTS, BASKETS AND GARDENS!

These are more ideas of garden accents, hanging baskets, plain old front property landscapes and other nice decorating ideas as well.

Again, flower color combinations in flower pots and hanging baskets are the key to wow people. The colors are important; however, more critical is the selection of which plants are full sun or partial shade tolerant that you are planting in these pots.

Decide on plants and colors to buy. Annuals bring the most outstanding colors for a longer period of time, were as perennials will come back year after year but most will bloom for limited periods of time.

Finally remember, don’t forget, location, location, location, where are you placing your containers will make the difference in how much watering, and how long they will stay in bloom.

Summer is almost at its peak and definitely, this is not a time to start thinking about what to plant this year. However, is never too late to think about next year’s gardening plan. Ideas for flower baskets combinations, flower pots and general gardening throughout our properties. Decide on types of plants to buy, annuals and perennials and location for sun and shade plants.

One idea is to walk/drive through different neighborhoods in your area to see what they did to beautify their gardens this year, then take photos and start your plans. It doesn’t’ hurt to borrow their ideas now and implement them next year.

To help you out, I did a walk through for you, Enjoy!

CAN YOU FIND THE MAILBOX? SOME GARDENING DO’S AND DON’T!

Mail boxes are important to keep our mail conveniently delivered to our homes. However, at times, we go beyond our beautifying intentions when planting vines, bushes and flowers, unaware that most of them will grow fast and furious. They also become great hidden places for pests, snakes, wasps and God knows what other monster creatures.

During my morning walks I go to different neighborhoods and parks, in order to stay motivated and don’t get bored. These walks have given me the opportunity to see how people do gardening. The first impression anyone get when they come to our homes is the whole package; that includes the lawn, the garden and the mailbox.

So, I took some samples of mailboxes out there to share with you. Today, you will be the “silent” judge to decide which mailboxes are fine and which others need a bit of tender loving care. You don’t need to get back to me, is your private evaluation.

Remember, the postal workers will be thrilled that you selected the best and safest.  Have fun.
