Jewelry making is so much fun. On the design end, the sky is the limit. You can do a project with one color/style bead or a combination of color beads.

The important thing here is to enjoy the relaxing time, feel darn good about what you will create and then find a time to show it all off at an outing, SMILE.

CRAFTY MONDAY: SIMPLICITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. IT DOESN’T TAKE A LOT OF MONEY TO DECORATE OUR HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS. PROJECT #2

Trust me, go scavenger hunt around your home and garden and you will find inspiration for ideas to decorate for the holidays.

This one is so simple. Go to the kitchen, look at your plates, what calls you attention? Is it a plate from that china that we all have and never used, or used one in a blue moon, Smile? Or is it one or 2 ornament that you can borrow from your Christmas tree that no one will notice the difference? Either way, I do not need to explain much about this project base on its simplicity:

Place one plate over the other and then place the ornaments and pine cones near them. Boom, looks pretty cool, don’t you think?  You are going to love it. You crushed it!

I know that lots of people love to go overboard when is time to decorate the home for Christmas, and that is ok too. However, this post is to make sure that simple decorations of materials that you may have around the home that have vibrant colors, could do just the same.

Here is my first project that cost almost nothing to give you ideas to start working on, smile.

Materials you might have at home now:
Transparent bottle, (it could even be a clear glass wine or juice color)
A Dollar Store pk. of gold or red Christmas ornament decoration
1 or 1 ½ yr. of gold or red ribbon
1 or 2 bunches of red holiday berries or any other filling, like silk Poinsettias.

Directions:
Make a simple bow.
Place the berries inside the clear glass bottle.
Place the bottle on top of a colorful plate.
Spread around the bottle the Christmas ornament decorations.
Boom, you are done.

The sky is the limit, there are no strict rules to follow, just what appeals to you and you like. Therefore, look all over your home, then go to the Dollar Store (or Michaels, smile) and start working on your one-of-a-kind decoration piece. Enjoy!

(This is the last post about the Holidays Bottles for the week, Hope you liked them)
Is so simple. Rinse the empty bottles thoroughly. Remove the labels by submerging them in hot water. Go to your craft room if you have one, or to Hobby Lobby or Michaels, or Joann Fabrics, etc. to get the attachment(s) that appeals to you.

Go home, get your glue gun started and become as creative as you want to be. There are no rules for this. If you just want to add a bow, that’s fine, or pine cones (remember to bake them at 200 degrees for few minutes to kill any pest that found home on them) or silk red, silver, gold flowers. Have tons of fun doing this and give them to family and friends.
