It is somewhat sad that the productions of nature’s beautiful flowers are coming to an end in my garden. Yes, the fall season bring its own colors, and although beautiful tones, the range is not as bright as I love. So, I decided to harvest my last summer flowers for this year and will be looking forward to next spring and summer to plant them and enjoy them again. As you can see, my last arrangement is a mix of Mexican Sunflower, Zinnias and some berry branches from my Zuni Crape Myrtle tree. They are required to keep me happy during cold and cloudy days until they can no longer shine. HACK: I will leave this flower arrangement in the container until all the flowers are dried and then I will remove the dried petals and collect the seeds attach at the end. They will become my new plants next year. I will place them in a Ziploc bag, labeled with name and date and store them in a dry place at room temperature. My proposal to you is, go to your backyard or garden and pick anything that you may like, display in a flower container and enjoy it. Love it!
