GARDENING: IRISES, REMEMBERING OUR LOVELY 2017 SUMMER

​These beauties are gone now. They bloomed during early summer and I was lucky enough to see numerous color’s everywhere. I took photos and decided to wait until late summer or early fall to do a post and remind you and myself, of how spectacular they were just few months ago.
 
For now, it’s never too late to think about your garden for next year. I would draft a written plan to include the colors you like most, where to plant these beauties, how many plants to purchase for both; cutting to display inside your home and for landscaping your property.
 
The sky is the limit and we will have all winter to dream about how pretty your garden will look. Smile.
 
If you are lucky enough, maybe you could take advantage this fall, when some of your neighbors with large Irises clumps will have to divide the mother plants and not having more space available to plant them in their gardens, they will have no choice but to give some of the divided cuttings away. Sweet!
