hYes, gardening friends, if there is a doubt in our minds about whether spring is here or not, just look around. If you get to see a lot of yellow around you, it means forsythias and daffodils are in bloom. Therefore, there will be no doubt that winter is gone or about to be gone for good this year. Sweet! Let’s look at some of these plants stats:
Plant Stats: Perennial: Yes, both are. Hardiness: Yes. Deer Resistant: Yes. Full Sun: Yes. Partial Sun: Maybe. Shade: No. Bloom Time: SPRING! Color: Yellow. Size: Daffodils about 2 feet tall and Forsythia bush can grow taller than all of us, smile. Water Needs: Yes. However, they are so forgiving. I don’t remember when I water either ones, smile. Good Companion Plants: Any plan is good and not too many are in bloom at their bloom time. That’s the reason why their yellow color is so majestic and unique in spring time.
