It’s no brainer, every year the task of purchasing mulch and spread it thorough your gardens is inevitable. I am lucky enough that I have never done it myself and that my hubby takes upon that challenge every year and do it beautifully. (Thank you Jesus!)
Last weekend, he purchased 20 bags, it’s usually more than that, but I am designating an area for planters and vegetables and I do not want mulch there. Well, it took him almost the whole Saturday to go to the store, load the bags in the truck, bring them home, mow the lawn first and then start working on the mulch task. (Wow, I am exhausted already.) Yep, he is a keeper? Smile.

We are in the month of May. Several plants are in bloom now and others are awakening. However, the blooming Azaleas, continue to make a splash all over. It is simply amazing the variety of colors that they offer. They are starting to fade away so hurry and enjoy them while you can.
One thing though, As I walked through several neighborhoods, I could not find a lavender color Azalea. Then on my second search day, I finally capture one. Interesting, maybe it is not a popular color for gardeners or the color is nor openly available at garden centers. Either way, let’s just enjoy what I was able to capture with my camera. |
