Yes, one of my very favorites. The CREPE MYRTLE TREE. This spectacular tree blooms in different colors providing us a show stopper to take a moment, stop and watch its beauty.
At home I have the purple, lavender and pink. There are two other varieties that I admire, the red and the white. Friends, after these series of 2021 Summer Garden Trees, hanging baskets and Flower containers, you must go to the garden center and start the Fall planning to beautify your gardens with good old Crepe Myrtle.

I always love to do my morning walks to enjoy the fantastic displays of summer flowers in the neighborhoods around me. However, sometimes the display is not as flamboyant, especially if we have experience the super-hot days of this summer. Nevertheless, there is still good stuff to enjoy around. THE RUBBER PLANT
Again, I do not need any flowers to keep my arrangement looking amazing. The colors and the size of the leaves are attractive enough to please anyone. This is an interesting plant that comes in a variety of colors. I would say that one of the most popular colors is the cream border with the inside of the leaves in several tones of green. It is pretty hardy though but again, in cooler climates it may not perform well. It prefers spaces with partial shade from the sun. It is also pet friendly. Keep it trimmed if you do not want it to take a whole lot of your garden space, smile. THE TI PLANT NO FLOWER-FLOWER ARRANGEMENT
This plant is also known as the Hawaiian good-luck-plant. In frost-free regions, it's grown as a landscape shrub where it adds tons of color to yards and gardens all year long. I have my Ti plant outdoors in my year-round warmer climate location. In the north or in cold areas; however, you must bring it indoors as soon as the temperature begins to fall. After I am done with this arrangement, I will stick it in the ground or a pot and it will root into another pretty plant. These are some stats: Plant Stats: Perennial in warmer climates only: Yes Hardiness: As a landscape shrub outdoors, it's hardy in Zones 10-11. Bring indoors in the fall in colder areas Deer Resistant: No, but they may eat the tops; however, Ti is not their first choice. Full Sun: Yes, somewhat, keep reading. Partial Sun: Yes, somewhat, keep reading. Shade: Give it some shade from the hot afternoon sun . Bloom Color: Pale Pink, White/Near White Bloom Time: Blooms all year in warmer climates. Plant Color: Green, Pink, Purple, Red, Variegated, White. Size: 10’ to 12 ‘ Water Needs: Keep the soil moist, but not wet for extended periods. Good Companion Plants: In container gardens, it pairs wonderfully with impatiens, sweet potato vine, purple hearts, and other favorites. |
