The seed takes the longest time to sprout from the soil. I get so impatient because I want to see the plant coming out the soil fast, smile.
Either way, on the other hand, I get a lot of satisfaction with cuttings, because I see the plant, I wait until the roots begin to come out and get strong enough to plant them in soil. Look at the captions on each photo to identify the plants if you don’t recognize it in the photos. I will show you updates next month, smile.

Nothing tops Mother Nature when it comes to beauty. I am blessed enough to encounter some of these beauties daily. Every now and then I come across an alligator or a long snake, but like it or not, they are part of it.
I also come across so many that I don’t get the time to capture them with my phone. However, they entertained me and make me the happiest woman during my walks. Boom! Aren’t they cute? Yes, these guys were hanging out in the golf course and were not bother or distracted by any players or golf balls falling near them. They looked at players like; “what the heck are you all doing in my back yard, get out now!
Seriously, they are so adorable. Furthermore, I have never seen deer sitting in the grown, ever. I always see them running, jumping and standing looking at you, then running away. Thank God for nature, providing us free shows every day through animals, sunsets, beaches, mountains, well, you get my point. This current winter temperatures and overall weather conditions are surprising everyone. There have been places in the north recording 4 and 5 feet of snow. First responders stuck on the roads and tons of people trapped in their cars under dangerous temperature conditions.
On the other hand, while these situations are happening in the north, west, central, etc. the south of the country is showing what paradise should be, live colorful plan material. Now, don’t get me wrong, just recently Florida experience freezing temperatures, some areas in the high 20’s. However, overall, you can see how the plants are striving and beautifying our country in the south. Awesome! Yes, a wonderful idea. Just use whatever herbs you have in your gardens now, because soon the weather will become real cold and the herbs will burn and die.
This year, I also decided to recycle my empty Paprika containers and use them as flower vases. I simply added a beautiful color ribbon to the containers. Fill them with fresh water, harvested my organic herbs from my garden and placed them in the containers at random. No brainer! The herbs that I placed in the arrangements were:
WHAT’S STILL IN FLOWER NOW? NOT MUCH, HOWEVER, IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY YOU MAY GET LUCKY WITH ROSES!9/6/2022 This 2022 Summer is gone but we can still enjoy the beauty of nature if you care enough to look out for it. Today we are enjoying the good old traditional and romantic roses. These flower bushes are perennial, meaning they come back year after year to bring new gorgeous and colorful roses. Let’s enjoy the end of 2022 roses season that just ended, bummer!
Purple Coneflower (Echinacea) is another perennial plant that grows in my garden year after year, tons of it and requires almost no special care or no care at all. There are several variations and it comes in other colors as well, like orange, red and white.
You will not regret purchasing one or more of these plants, because they will give you more free plants every year. BONUS: Butterflies loves them! Again, another flower arrangement for my garden window that cost me nothing, smile. Most of these beautiful landscapes today are from Northern Virginia and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Regardless of their location, I am sure that you agree with me that they are breathtaking, period! Enjoy.
I really enjoy the landscapes that my neighbors established and take care of throughout the years. Some of them are simple, yet elegant. Others are large and mixed with so many beautiful plant materials. Many of these landscapes are to some extent self-maintained, while others require frequent watering, fertilizers and deadheading.
Overall, landscapes are so much part of nature, just that they are simply created by caring humans. BRAVO and keep on the good work! I walk every day and always take a different route to avoid becoming bore to death. In the process, I come across different bodies of water that though small, keeps me motivated and grateful to be able to enjoy nature.
Sometimes I see snakes swimming from point a to point b, then I run as heel fast away from that area, smile. Other times, I get to see plenty of nature; foxes, deer, and birds. Yep, just go out and enjoy any local natural body of water where you live. |
