As you already know, each beach has its flavor, it’s pro’s and con’s, amenities, crowds, etc. This particular beach however is more quiet and less crowded than others. That is a plus when you want to find a spot either under the sun or a cover and not be bother with anything. Just looking at the mighty water, sand shells, well you get the drift. Smile.
When I am not in a party, crazy and super fun mood, I go to Crescent Beach for that special me, myself and I time. The plus is that I involve myself in a scavenger hunt for a variety of shells and I am never ever disappointed.
The sand of this particular beach is of a darker color but still beautiful. It does remind me that nature is second to none and that what God created a man cannot. Venice is packed with attractions. A family friendly beach that guarantee a relaxing time for all. There are plenty of ways to get out there and reconnect with nature. Nothing beats the view of the water any time of the day, let alone experiencing the sunsets. Venice beach (Caspersen) is called the Shark Tooth Capital of the World. The reason why is that many fossilized shark teeth wash up on the coastline of Venice. Kids and parents love to find them as well as shells. However, is illegal to remove and keep a living shell from the beach. Also, there is the Jetty and the Fishing Pier. The Pier is 720 feet long, 22 feet wide and 20 feet high and it stands in water up to 18 feet deep. I personally love to walk this Pier. |
