More Things to Enjoy in Venice, Florida - Part 4 of 5

In this montage of photos I show you other things to enjoy in Venice, including the locals’ positive spirits and the sea grape tree. There are many more fun things to see and to experience in this small piece of paradise.

Just a quick piece of information about the grape tree that you see in these photos, I am sure that you have seen it before:

The sea grape tree blooms in ivory to white flowers. The grapes grow in clusters on short stalks. Only female plants produce fruit but, of course, the male plant must be nearby for her to produce.
Since the fruit looks so much like grapes, one wonders if sea grapes are edible. The answer is yes, humans and animals can eat the grapes, and they are also used to make jam.
