I had these black beads and looking into my many bead trays, found these other odd sizes, turquoise color beads. So, I decided to combine them with some gold tones and the result was awesome and unique looking. I bet you can’t find them at any store, smile. Think about using them with a white dress. Fabulous!

MORE CABIN FEVER CRAFTS TO STAY PRODUCTIVE, THIS TIME, MASKS!

We are always looking for ideas to keep busy, occupied, entertained and avoid boredom during social distancing. Arts and Crafts come to mind as one way to accomplish that goal.

If you have a sewing machine, (or even if you don’t) you are in luck. Why not work on something that may benefit you and your family, and perhaps your friends? MASKS.

There are several patterns on the internet that you can download and print at home. They are very easy to make. (And again, some do not need a sewing machine.) If you have an old cotton blouse, shirt or even a bandana, then you have the primary material to make a mask at home.

You will feel so proud of whatever you create. Furthermore, it will take a good chunk of your day, keep you occupied and focus. It’s good cabin therapy! Smile.

Therefore, since me and my daughters sew, I decided to get mask-crafty. Yesterday, I made my first mask ever. Not 100% to my like, (bummer), but it was my practice project. Hey, I will get there and after all, it doesn’t look that bad after I add on my shades and a hat for extra protection, smile. Thank God I don’t have to go to the bank soon, or they may think it’s an assault and call the police, ha, ha, ha!
