As promised yesterday, here is my recipe combining the purple Brussels sprouts. It is simple and nutritious. Furthermore, extremely good looking, don’t you think? Category: Entrée Approx. Prep and Cook Time: Under 30 Minutes Approximate Cost: $10.86 or $5.43 per serving Difficulty Level: Easy Allergens, Other: Gluten Free Servings: 2 Ingredients 3 Flounder filet ($2.50) 2 ½ tbsp. Angie’s basting oil (1 to season fish, and ½ to drizzle over veggies (.50) 1 ½ tsp. Roasted Garlic and Herbs (.30) ½ lb. Asparagus ($1.75) 1 c. broccoli ($1.00) 2 Brussels sprouts servings (from my post of yesterday.) ($3.06) 1 Lemon (.50) 1 avocado ($1.25) Directions Season the flounders with my basting oil and 1 tsp. Roasted Garlic and Herbs. Refrigerate. In a saucepan with ½ c. of water, add ½ tsp. Roasted Garlic and Herbs, cook briefly the broccoli and asparagus until bright green and tender. Drain. Drizzle basting oil over veggies In a skillet, sauté the fish filet until cooked, about 3-4 minutes. Ready to plate, use 2 sprouts servings from my yesterday recipe. Done! Enjoy!
