One of my favorite colors in jewelry is turquoise. It looks so nice with so many outfits.
I always remember one of my trips to Albuquerque. One morning, at the hotel, I woke up and turned the TV on to hear the news before going out to tour Santa Fe. Oh wow, the female anchor was wearing a stunning, super amazing large-beaded turquoise necklace over a super bold blood orange, almost red dress. It simply took my breath away. I paused to watch and strategize about where could I find a super bright orange color piece like that, anything; a blouse, a dress??? I got to have that combination.
The necklace was not a problem; I could make it.
You will not believe this but it took me almost 6 months to find that blood orange color piece. Oh, I also made the necklace; and no, is not the one in this post.
