I found this stool at a nonprofit thrift shop and bought it for $5. The straw sit was worn out, broken, loose and dirty. However, the wood was in good condition. The plan was to remove the straw sit, add batting for extra cushion and then cover it with fabric. The second plan was to clean the wood portion of the stool thoroughly, including every cranny hidden little spots as well. Finally, I needed to assemble the stool back in place and proudly, show it off! Friends, look for pieces with potential everywhere before purchasing new.
