What is the first thing you do when the peanuts are gone and is time to purchase more? You dump the container in the recycle trash bin and by doing so, even though is just one container, you and millions more contribute to overload our land fields. Well, yes, I hear you, you can’t keep everything at home, I understand, me neither. My point is to look at possible item potential before discarding anything like this. I came up with a re-use for this containers accidentally. I was going on a road trip and my peanuts where about to run out. I needed to bring some snacks, since we were leaving at 3:00 am and there aren’t that many grocery stores open at that time. Therefore, I looked in my pantry and saw my favorite snack, Chocolate and Multi-Grain Gluten Free Cheerios. So quickly, I empty the peanuts container, washed it, dried it and filled it with Cheerios. Boom! Believe me, what a good idea. My Cheerios were fresh for the whole trip and while travelling, other ideas came to my mind. I thought, maybe I can use these jars for something else and I sure did. Winning! Winning!
