CRAFTY MONDAY- WINE or SPIRITS EMPTY BOTTLES REPURPOSED SERIES: Bottle #6

The Christmas and New year holidays are getting closer each day. It is never too early to start thinking about how you will decorate your home this year.
 
Look, we have had a terrible 2020 as far as elections and pandemic. Therefore, it is time to stop and start thinking about us and each other. Let’s just plan to enjoy these two month left of the year and furthermore, make a decision about making a decorative piece. Just take a look at my “Empty Bottles Repurposed Series” and boom, done!
 
These are the bottle materials: Total Cost ($1.20)
1 empty green bottle (0)
2 or 3 tall grasses white flowers (0)
1 yd. burgundy velvet ribbon to make a bow ($1.00)
1 piece of wire to secure the bow (.10)
 Hot glue or regular glue for attached the bow to the bottle (.10)

Directions

• Get the empty bottle, wash it well inside and remove the labels. I keep the label dry and pour super-hot water, allow it to sit few minutes and then start to peel the label. If that doesn’t work, then submerge the bottle in hot water and let it sit for a while to detach it from the bottle. Allow it to dry completely, inside and out.
• Make the bow. (Don’t know how to make this one? Then just make a single bow.)
• Glue the bow to the bottle, allow to dry. Insert the tall grasses flowers in the bottle.
• DONE!
