Unfortunately, this particular tree is an invasive species to the state of Florida. It grows tall and provides too much shade to affect the natural grow of native Florida plants.
Therefore, any time that I have the opportunity to gather some branches to make arrangements, I do not feel bad about it, smile. Their small red berry-like looks fantastic on holiday crafts. Furthermore, they also look somewhat similar to the Holly Tree.
