Part 1: The Bedroom
Very few small changes can make a big difference in your home. The good news is that you do not need to hire an interior decorator or set aside a large budget to accomplish a modern, industrial, classy or funky look, depending on your taste. Today we are going to focus on the bedroom. Since it is the place where you go at the end of a stressful work day, it should be homey, calmly and free of clutter. Paint: To change your bedroom, start by painting the room in a bold color, like chocolate brown or mustard yellow. For a nice contrast, paint the trims off-white/beige. What an economical way to give your room a total new look. Also, think about painting the ceiling, you can go bold there too. Comforter Set: Get a new lighter color comforter and decorative pillows. You can get them as cheap or as expensive as you can afford. Some inexpensive complete sets come as “Bed-in-a-Bag”, including the comforter, pillow cases, sheets and some even include the bed ruffle. Most of them are quite pretty. Night Tables: You can also paint your night tables using a light beige color or if you prefer, keep them dark. Finally, just place a lamp and a small decorative piece on top to avoid clutter. Now, Sweet Dreams!
