It happens to all of us, we have busy lives at work and at home. Suddenly, one more thing, we forgot that we have to go shopping for a gift that we totally forgot. Is it for a friend, a family member or someone at work? So you run to shop and while at the mall, you can’t find a darn thing and time is running out! “Lord Have Mercy on You” Not a problem for me. I love to shop at yard sales and keep a stock of possible items that can be repurpose as gifts. Yard sales make me feel like a kid in a candy store. Today I want to share with you this beautiful treasure that I found in a yard sale; 2 coffee mugs that I purposely mismatched with 2 different saucers, a dollar each piece. I took them home and ran them with my dishes in the dishwasher under the super hot water cycle and stored them in Ziploc bags until I have the need to use them. That need came up about a month later when some friends invited us over for dinner and I wanted to make a couple of gifts for them. I remember the mugs and then I figure; mugs go perfect with coffee or tea. So, I went to the store and bought a nice container of tea, went to Starbuck and bought mini coffee bags and boom, the yard sale saved my life from going to the mall. I basically had the gifts that I needed in my craft room.
