GARDEN BEDS: Prepare garden beds for the planting season. Clean all leftover branches from last year’s produce, if you haven’t already. Add organic matter either if you purchase it or if you produce your own at home. I can see those juicy tomatoes, crisp green peppers of all kinds and bright purple eggplants, to mention a few.
Please add fresh soil. Plants will not thrive in last year’s old soil. Yes, you will have veggies; however, not top quality.
Finally, remember to work the beds on a clear not rainy day. The soil will get muddy and at times compacted, plus it will be a big mess, smile.
